Curving the exhaust pipes down is a great idea. A while back I ignored my friends' advice and ran the exhaust pipes thru the bumper in my '55 Cad-----. Within five years the perfectly good pods had rotted out at the bottom. Never again [but none of my present cars are that fancy anyways]. --Roger van Hoy, '55DeSoto, '42DeSoto, '66Plymouth, '73Duster, Washougal, WA -----Original Message----- From: brians <brians@SPRINGLAKEMI.COM> To: L-FORWARDLOOK@lists.psu.edu <L-FORWARDLOOK@lists.psu.edu> Date: Sunday, November 28, 1999 2:06 PM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] exhaust pod "guts" for 57 DeSoto >Hi Ed, > >I would like to suggest another solution which may keep your >exhaust outlets in the bumper looking good for a much longer >time.
