  • 'Twas two days before Christmas, not to be out on the road,
It's been three days, and man has it snowed.
Our little town is all decorated, with a very nice flare,
Everyone is in hopes, Old St. Nick will soon be there.
Now here on Christmas Eve, the phone begins to ring,
Someone on the line, what's that ring a ding ding.
You say that old Rudolph has come down with a cold,
And you need a ride, it must be Red and very bold.
The idea of delivering, all of those toys,
Makes one wonder, just how many girls and how many boys.
I said to Old Santa, let's hop in, and head to the sky,
But wait just a minute, old Plymouths can't fly.
He HO HOed, and laughed with a glee,
It's a Forward Look, the Fins set you free.
Now load up, not a minute to loose,
This is quite the ride, yes fins I did choose.
We lifted off, flying to a great height,
He looked past the wheel, I see it has torqueflite.
We put her down, on a very snowy rooftop,
The tires sounded like hoof beats, a clippity clop.
He slid down the chimney, returned in a flash,
The huge trunk would not empty, of his very endless stash.
After many hours, of circling the skies,
Jolly old St. Nick had a gleam in his eyes.
The evening is over, the gifts all delivered,
Take us down he motioned, just as he shivered.
We hit the ground with a slip and a slide,
Now there is something, in which I must imbibe.
He said he always asked, but this gift he never got,
When you are Santa, your wheels are not hot.
Those old reindeer, are okay up in the sky,
But down on these roads, a MoPar I must try.
So as I stand at the roadside, it seems very right,
I watch the fins disappear, and to all a goodnight!

WISHING YOU AND YOURS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
    AND MANY PROSPEROUS NEW YEARS!

John, Rosie, Jake and Becky in WI
