According to my Cars and Parts ID book, the engine is from a Firedome, but the body number could be an Adventurer. Perhaps the car was originally an Adventurer and at some point in time, the original engine was replaced?? I received a brochure today from The Danbury Mint promoting their 58 Fury model. I ordered mine based on the satisfaction I've had with other models. The brochure has a couple things wrong, like the car having bucket seats and 58 being the year the car "evolved into a styling masterpiece". Guess they didn't know the 57 was almost identical and, maybe, 56 was the first Fury??? Anyway, it's a good looking model. Dan C |
