Dieter reminded me of my experience a few years back... The car would start to run roughly then stall, and start up fine a few minutes later. I replaced the coil, wires, plugs, resistor, rebuilt the carb... to no avail. The last thing I checked was the fuel filter. When I took it off, rust poured out like mud. It would suck up into the filter until it clogged, then when the engine stalled, it would settle off the element, and work fine... Definitely worth checking! -Dave
