Hate to say this, but from my past experience the only answer is to pull the
entire dash out of the car and then remove and replace the pad. There is
generally four to six large bolts securing it in place, normally on the far
sides of it, and you will have to remove or drop the steering column. But
hey, that is how they were installed and that is the only way to do it. You
will still however rearrange the english language. Sorry.
