[FWDLK] BAD LUCK STORY-- NEED BACK GLASS

I find myself in need of a back glass for the '55 DeSoto 2dr hardtop.  Also
does anyone have an interchange list?  I'm assuming the Chrysler will fit
but someone locally has an Imperial and says the window won't work.

BAD LUCK STORY:  After carefully storing the back glass for over a year, it
was time to reinstall.  My wife Jan and I carefully wrapped it in blankets
and put in the back of our pickup.  She was following me into town, but on
our curvy country roads you lose one another for a time.  Leaving a straight
stretch, I saw her coming into it.  However, at the next straight stretch
she was nowhere to be found.

Long story longer, she took her eyes off the road for a few seconds, drifted
into the ditch on the right, overcorrected, and went across the road and
over the cliff on the left.  Flipped the truck end-for-end, it slid downhill
backwards, hit a boulder which crushed the cab in back, flipped over again
and landed on its wheels.  She crawled out of the wreck and 40' up the bank
to the road where she was helped until the amnulance arrived.  Fortunately,
thank God, other than some severe face and scalp lacerations and bruises all
over and post-concussive syndrome, she is all right, no broken bones.

So that's why I need a new back glass.  You can always replace those but not
a good wife.
