Some years ago there was an 'old guy' with like a 35 terraplane sedan and he had air in it!!!! And he still had his old electrical system, NOT 12v. He upgraded the generator still 6v but set the cutout (it did not have a regulator but its predecessor) to allow 8v. And used a smaller pulley so it turned faster hence put out more volts. Lars |
