Then you can tilt the top out and pull up. this way the glass will still have the rubber around it for protection. Not cutting the BOTTOM lip will help keep the glass from slipping in the process. After it is out, then you can remove the chrome trim without damaging it! (Old junkyard wisdom.) That's good advice.
