HI list.
In our paper today there is 392 hemi motor for sale.
And i am wondering if it would fit in my 57 plymouth belvedere
I have 301 with 2 speed push button transmission right now in the car.

There are reports that Chrysler Corp made a couple "Hemi-Commandos" in '57,
which were fitted with the 392 hemi. And there used to be a 57 Plymouth
drag car when I lived in the So Cal area back in the 60's which ran a 392
hemi. It definitely kept up with the traffic :)
So, yes....it will fit, but you will need to beef up the front suspension
considerably, as the old cast iron 392 brute will add 2 or 3 hundred more
pounds than your 301 or the 318 many '57s came with.
