[FWDLK] Danbury Mint models

Greetings fellow ForwardLook fans:

I think you'll really enjoy this!  Recently I wrote Mr. Peter Maglathlin, 
Director of the Danbury Mint, and suggested the Mint offer models of the 1956 
and/or 1957 DeSoto.
I also requested they offer a 1959 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer to "round out 
the era".

These two models would go with the Chrysler 300C, and the recently released 
1958 Fury model.

I sent scans from original DeSoto brochures to illustrate my point. So 
without further beating around the bush, here's what his reply said;  

"I am pleased to inform you that by this time next year we hope to offer the 
1956 DeSoto Adventurer as a replica."  Yahoo!!

What wonderful news!  Get your money ready and collect this wonderful series 
of Forwardlook models!  There are none finer. Danbury Mint models are super!  
And don't forget to WRITE other model manufacturers to let them know we would 
like more MOPAR models!
