All,
Mopar: The Finned Years 1955-1961, produced by Cars and Stripes (it
says on the credit card receipt Market Marborough) in 1998. I ordered my
copy in April of '99, it cost $18.99, but I did not keep the address I
ordered it through.Seems like I did it over the Internet. Perhaps a search
of the FL archives for early 1999 will turn up the discussion...(I can't
imagine learning about this tape from any other source!)
I recall the discussion at the time was whether the British format
would work in the US format...I had to order the tape in PAL format,
whatever that means. It is two hours long, in color and b/w, and includes
pieces such as Groucho showing off the '58, the 300F on Daytona Beach,
dealer footage and TV ads. 1955 Plymouth, 56 Dodge, 59 Dodge, etc, and man,
what hokey, dated ads! See Betty White and Tom Kennedy, the game show host!
