Just an oddball suggestion. Before you tear the brakes apart again, look at your
upper A arms where the bushings go through on top. My 57 Dodge was doing the
same thing - locking up the front brakes - despite the fact the brake components
all checked out.

Problem turned out to be that the "round" hole for the bushing had worn into an
"elliptical" opening allowing the car to shift forward in the suspension
whenever the brake was applied - even very lightly - thus locking the front
brakes. Who knows why?
