Thanks to all the replies on the brake issue. As I gather, both lines go into the proportioning valve, then split up from there. Nice to know. It would also be better for me to go with a later model rear end as later model rear disc brakes don't like the shaft with the key and slot (correct me if I'm wrong). It's tempting. Anyone have a later model 8 3/4? Doesn't need to have gears, and something narrower than the stock one would go along nicely with what I'm attempting to do. Thanks again.
