Hey Mike, It was going for $850,000 in the bold type, obviously a typo! When I went on to read the actual ad she wanted 2k-8k...she said she didnt know what it was worth, but wanted it saved. There is a restored Sport Fury hardtop out there somewhere for $50K, which gave me the chuckle for the day..I guess the guy wants back every penny he ever spent on it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Sealey" <mopar2ya@YAHOO.COM> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@LISTS.PSU.EDU> Sent: Wednesday, August 08, 2001 7:44 AM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Excite Classifieds '58 Saratoga > Is this the same car that was being offered a few > month back for $150,000? > > This adjustment (asking $2,000-$8,000) brings it > closer to the right ballpark, although that car's > certainly not 2 1/2 to 10 times the car my Plymouth > is... :^) > > (And no, the Plymouth's not for sale, that was a > reference to what I paid for it...) > > --- Excite Classifieds > <findit@CLASSIFIEDS.EXCITECORP.COM> wrote: > > Greetings from Excite Classifieds, > > > > Cool Notify found the following items meeting your > > search criteria: > > > > Car: 1958 Chrysler Saratoga, 4 dr, 200 Miles, $8000, > > Spokane, WA > > > > To view the complete ads, go to: > > > > > http://www.classifieds2000.com/cgi-cls/Search.exe?3598144+05-AUG-01 > > > > ===== > Mike Sealey, San Francisco CA > '57 Plymouth Sport Suburban > '64 Chrysler 300-K 2dr Hardtop > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo!
