Hello all,
I'm getting ready to install the AAJ
disc brake conversion kit. I'm going with the basic kit: 2 caliper mounting
brackets, 2 adapters... for the bearings, and mounting hardware. I'm doing this
because I work at Pep Boys and can get a discount on upgraded parts. I'm waiting
on my next check to order the kit but so far here is my list of
parts:
Reman. master cylinder Raybestos

bleeder kit # BSE343
Rotors #7032T
Brake hoses # BH36773
Caliper bolts/slides # H5002-2
Brake pads (top of the line Quiet Stop) #
PGD52QS
D. Side caliper # 30-4060
P. Side caliper # 30-4059
Inner Bearings # BR17
Outer Bearings # BR2
Not all the parts are listed yet but I'll
keep you all informed of any changes and part numbers as I get them followed
(hopefully soon) by a report on how well it stops. If anyone has any questions
I'll try to answer them the best I can. I'm trying to keep everything looking as
stock as possibly... even the stock wheels w/ dog dish hub caps.
