Hi to everyone, I also had a less than satisfactory experience with Frank Mitchell. He claimed to have an NOS rear taillight lens for a 1961 Chrysler. When I received it, not only was there a lack of original packaging, but the lens had numerous hairline scratches typical of a used lens. It was a nice lens, but most definitely not NOS. As many people have said, if you are going to deal with them, use a credit card so that you can dispute the merchandise and get a refund through your credit card (if you want to put up with this kind of trouble!). On the other hand, I have dealt with them for low priced items such as seals, gaskets, etc, since there is not a lot to lose, and I don't think that they sell used gaskets! But it is strictly buyer beware (or worse!) with this organization. I only deal with him when he's the only guy that has the part and it better be a rare item if I do. Be advised whatever he says is NOS is hardly ever NOS. I have heard of him being a "crook" as far back as the early eighties. One story I know of is when he bought a NOS '71 'cuda grille for $100 from a guy at a show and marked it up to $400 at the same show that very day! I've never been completely screwed by him but, I can say I've definitely been overcharged and he hasn't been honest about the condition of the parts I bought from him. Just my two cents. Take Care, Frank
