An American Airlines plane went down in the Rockaway Beach area, near the
Atlantic ocean around 9:15 this morning.
There is not, as yet, any word as to how many people were on board, what
the flight number was, or where it flew from. (American Airlines Flight 587,
a Boeing 767 from JFK to Santo Domingo)
