Dave - Sometimes I'll take my 220V portable compressor to a friends who has no 220 in his garage but he does have a 220 outlet for his electric dryer. What we did was take a spare dryer cord and put a 220V female plug receptacle on other end and that way we can use dryer outlet for power source. Usually a 50' air hose will reach into garage. -----Original Message----- From: Dave Stragand <Dave.Stragand@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Saturday, January 12, 2002 12:52 AM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Dave Stragand's DeSoto Engine Problems Would love to, but no 220V in that garage for my compressor. Getting a new gauge tomorrow to find out for sure though! -Dave -----Original Message----- From: Lee J Barmakian [mailto:FURY58451@xxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 9:30 PM To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Dave Stragand's DeSoto Engine Problems Why doesn't he do a Leakdown Test, and end the Compression Mystery?
