[FWDLK] The Truth about the Fake "9/11 Automotive companies donations" emails

By now everyone has gotten the "What auto compaines donated for the 9/11
attacks" and then goes on to list all the major manufactuers and what they
supposedly donated, point being that only the major US compaines kicked in
anything... but heres the real kicker. ITS NOT TRUE.

The email starts like this:
------
"After seeing a short news listing on "CNN Headline News" regarding Ford and
GM's contributions to the relief and recovery efforts in New York City and
Washington D.C., I was prompted to see what the other automotive companies
were contributing. I have never worked for an automotive company -- nor has
anyone in my family. It is, however, the prominent industry here in
Michigan. I also feel it is important to know which companies are there for
us in a crisis.

I went to (the news, press release and philanthropic areas of) each of the
companies web sites. If the company had several sites, I tried to visit them
all. Additionally, I visited the leading news and automotive sites. As of
today, one week since the attacks, this is what I have found: "
------

Well, it turns out its FALSE. But as we all know by now, once it makes it
thru the email chainletter circles it automatically becomes truth.

I have a step by step breakdown of what each company ACTUALLY donated and
the truth behind the email on my site. http://www.scatpack.com I borrowed
heavily from an article that was done by Woman Motorist magazine (hm.. takes
a woman to bring out the truth i guess). It seems almost everyone helped
out. No matter what country they are based in.

Now I doubt my email will be forwarded to everyone you know like the
original was.
