Leah,
Well, there are Parts Books and then there are Service and
Shop Books. The latter two tell you what the part number is and how to install
it. The Parts book will tell you what the part is named and what the
official Part # is. Any of the above should help you to avoid calling a
part a "dealiebopper" or a "whatchmacallit".
Literature suppliers (find one at the bigger swap meets)
are the most consistent supplier of these books. I am headed for the Portland
Oregon swap meet next week. If you want, I will buy a 1957-58 Plymouth Service
manual for you. Literature suppliers are also On-line...
I don't think you are "bothering" anyone on the List with
your questions and requests..

The Parts book is a little trickier, as I believe (not
positive, however) that the Parts Book covered the years 1955 thru 1958.
Do you really want or need that much
information?

Does any one know where I can get a new plastic dome for my car's dome
light? Also, I'd like to get a parts book so I do not have to bother everyone
on the list quite so much. Where would I find one of those?
