Al Schieb is son of Earl Schieb, owner of a chain
of paint shops, who once would paint any car for $29.95. That price went
up over the years. In 1979, my father let them paint his 67 Hemi
Charger. I still have the receipt for $79.95, and that paint job is still
on the car. Anyway, Al built or had built a pro-street type 57 Plymouth
with, as I recall, a 1000 horsepower hemi motor. Painted metallic maroon,
if I remember correctly. Much better paint than the typical Earl Shieb
job, of course. It was for sale a while back for big $$$.
