'59 Plymouth V8's are as follows.......

 

318 MP8-1001-xxxxxx located just below the right (pass)cylinder head and the water pump

 

361 ML361-1001-xxxxxx located on the right cylinder block between the distributor and coil.

 

'59 Mopars are the "M" series. The engines use the "M" stampings to identify them as '59 blocks.

 

xxxxxx=sequential serial no.
