I had this problem on my DeSoto and what I did was, thru trial and error, to disconnect the wire to the switch that controls the variable speed. It does not automatically return but stops whenever you switch it off. I will do this until I get another switch installed. If so, please let me know what the solution is. My electric veritable speed wipers on my 56 Dodge do not want to park when they are switched off. Several minutes later they will make one more swipe and then park. What is not working correctly to cause this? Hope everyone is having fun driving their cars in this beautiful summer weather. I went to a cruise night last night. Not to many cars there. Someone said that they were all at the "Back to the 50's" show. I will have to try to go there some year. Sounds like a lot of fun!
