This is exactly what I do. I never have more than 2-3 Mopars at a time. But, I have bought MANY 68-70 Chargers that were about to be 'General Lee'd. And it is the first question when someone shows interest in buying one. Some of us are trying to preserve the hobby. I also agree with Tom. I have bought a few C-body monsters to keep them out of the hands of the Demolition men. Again first question I ask when someone want to buy one. The parts issue is another matter. Chevy built like 1,000,000 55-57 Belairs, 210, and sedans. Mother Mopar didn't make even close to that in total production. So there is ALOT more Chevys around. And the result is that everybody and their uncle makes parts for those cars. A creative guy could probably build a car from scratch using only aftermarket/reproduction parts! This has a much to do with the popularity of the 55-57. Keep in mind this is also true of the 67-70 Camaro/Trans Am/Firebirds. Tons of them at shows as well. Just my pennies, Charles. Tom, Good luck on the relocation Mopar program but be careful only a thin line separates you from the others. The first step is advertise them and then you choosing who you want to sell them to. You will feel great because you can choose who gets the car. Most guy wait until they have to sell and then it goes to anybody with the money.
