Yes, and no conclusive ID then, although Dave Duricy pointed out that
the period pix on http://www.danrapley.com/ItalianBody/OldBody.htm
seem to show a flathead Ford engine.

I did a google on "Joe Gertler" and got a lot of aviation hits. He did at
