Correct to a certain degree ... Corrosion is an oxidation process, so it runs on oxygen. Once there's no more oxygen, the chemical reaction slows and then stops. However, I doubt that the amount of steel in a car would drain all the oxygen from a closed space while rusting ... I'll try to be there, anyway, even if it's 7 time zones away :) Vincent Van Humbeeck (France, 120 miles north of Paris) '58 Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupe -----Message d'origine----- De : Forward Look Mopar Discussion List [mailto:L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]De la part de Ron Allyn Swartley Envoye : mardi 2 decembre 2003 5:10 A : L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Objet : [FWDLK] TULSA 2007 I have been informed by a very reliable source that the car should be in perfect shape if the container is air tight. However once the fresh air hits the car it will rust and denigrate before your eyes.!!!!!----SO MAKE SURE YOU GET A FRONT SEAT AND DON'T EVEN BLINK WHEN YOU HEAR THE VACUUM NOISE COME FROM THE CONTAINER WHEN THEY OPEN IT.
