Hiya, Charles; 1) I'm a claims adjuster--"the Hunt" is what's fun! Once you've been in contact with buerocracies, (sp?) & realize that "no one" wants to take responsibility for anything, & in the course of 'normal' business, it's just easy NOT to take "no" as an 'answer', & keep pressing-on.. 2.The City can't-NOT exCARvate it; it's in ther "contract", and they "have-to" protect the car (inside), if only to preserve their ACV appraisal on the car, and in a fiduciary-relationship with whomever 'wins' the car. 3. The "preservation" of the car, to-date, is beyond our control--all we can do is BE THERE, to provide our moral-support to the Plymmie, cause it's, understandably, gonna be hurt, & confused, when it wakes-up, & discovers, that: Suddenly, it's 2007!!! 4. The most important thing to do, IN THE NEXT 3.5 years(!!!), is impress upon The City, that wee-all expect them to put-on a GOOD-SHOW, & exCARvate it carefully & well.
