Does any car still use real hubcaps, the 'dog-dish' variety? It seems
like all we see now are wheel covers of varying styles.

Chrysler used special hubcaps on police cars: they were the regular
small stamped-aluminum caps, but edged with holes. I never could figure
why the holes; there were no corresponding holes in the steel wheels
behind them, so what was there to cool?
