The material that is INSIDE the trunk and interior
on the floors is not undercoating. That is factory applied "mastic" which
was meant as a sound deadener as well as a seam sealer anywhere two panels
meet. You will find this on all cars to some degree. Chrysler's was
probably a bit heavier than other manufacturers. Ordering a car without
undercoating would not change the inside of the car.
