Brian, The cheapest way would be to score a wrecking yard 8 3/4 " axle from a later Dodge or Plymouth car.I used a '69 B-body unit in my '57 Fury, it needed the spring mounts moved about 3/4" per side but was otherwise a bolt in swap. Just take your tape measure with you to measure the overall width and be sure to measure the rear yoke(there are two different u-joint sizes), any competent welding shop can move the spring mounting pads if necessary.
