Yeah there is a lot of "padding" in the shipping lately. There is a new feature that lets the buyer calculate shipping charges. The seller can automatically add, and hide a handeling fee in the quoted charge. I got a quote for $15 to shp an ink cartridge! Did not bid on that one. Thene again tere are a lot of good sellers, one just sent me $6 cash in the mail because what I paid was more than the actual cost. I bid what I thought a couple things were worth for my 64 Fury and ForwardLook Coronets, and shipping prices are almost more than the item (not shown in the listing). These are small, not fragile items, and the shipping costs shown on the (used) boxes show the real shipping costs, and old newspaper sure isn't expensive. Are sellers making up for low bids by extensive padding of shipping costs (or am I just cheap)? LARRY _________________________________________________________________ Fast. Reliable.
