I visited a yard that is slowly scrapping out today. Anyone need anything from the following cars? 56 Chrysler 4dr, mostly complete 55-56 plymouths, dodges did not count. Loose plym taillights on wall, need any? 57/8 Plymouth - 2dr hardtop (well grown over), 2dr wagon (have photo) 57? 58? Chrysler - grille and bumper only (have photo) 59 Chrysler sedan. Has a good taillight on it (right) 57-8 Dodge: 57 2dr hardtop, at least one more (have photo) 57 DeSoto 2dr hardtop (taillights and towers gone) 58 DeSoto 4dr (photo) 60 Dodges - several including a fairly solid wagon, good quarters on it 60-61 Plymouth several 61 Dodge several including a low-series 2dr ht 60 Chrysler 4dr ht (got the mirror, not a lot left on it 61 Chrysler 4dr, 4dr ht (one has gutted dash, other I will be gutting) I am sure I missed a few, there is supposed to be a '61-'63 Imperial there somewhere that I have never seen. Plus lots of Valiant/Lancer parts cars. There were a few Hemi motors left, I found a DeSoto sitting on the ground next to a 57 Pontiac. I'm going to add the photos to a new page on my junkyards web page when I get a chance in a couple days. There is tons and tons of loose stuff laying about too, grilles and bumpers and the like, never know what I will find. Prices tend to vary from day to day, can be high at times. Couple questions - '62 300 Sport grille, whats the difference between it and a 300 letter car? Someone have a pic of the 300H nose I can check out? My guess is the H has a 300 logo in the center - On the mirror I got, off a '60 Saratoga. Not pitted very much, inside remote mirror. But the chrome housing with the glass seems loose/sloppy, I am wondering if it's broken? What holds it into the base? All I see are cables, but then it doesn't really look like there is anything broken in there either. The car was a little torn up, it looks like someone started to take it off and never took the inside control off. I paid $10 for it, seems like a nice one of these is a $100+ item, so I can't complain too much. Those chrome things on the '61 Chrysler to cap the fins worth anything? I'm going to pull some stainless and pieces, and I want the '57 DeSoto bumper. Anything else, as long as I don't get swamped - it's 90 minutes away from me, so I won't be able to go super often, maybe once a week. Bill K. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
