[FWDLK] Speaking of carb sizes...

Does anyone know the easiest way to get a stock 1959-60 air cleaner to fit on a new Edelbrock AFB 4bbl carb?  One person I  know hacked out the bottom of his air cleaner, and welded the bottom of a newer one there, but I am wondering if there is an easier way.  I have seen some "carb throat adapters" advertised, but I don't know if any will actually work.

 

Anyone have experience in this area?

The difference is the change from a WCFB carb in 1956, 57 to the AFB in 1958.
