Yes, - they all think (and say) my '59 Sport Fury is a "57 Plymouth" (at least they know who built it). Same "crowd" see my '81 Imperial and say "nice Rivvie" (*Buick* "Rivvie" I could only assume). Had a '56 Plymouth 2dr in the shop for a "heart transplant" a few months ago, - could not count all the people who thought it was a '57 Chev, - had to admit it did resemble one though, - none of the "trim" had been installed yet. Speaking of 81 Imperials, - lots of people called it an "Impala" too (I guess they spotted the "I" in the nameplate and took it from there), - have to admit though, - the Ky DMV *also* thought it was an Impala, - the title read just that, - "81 Chrysler Impala". Fortunately, - they (the DMV) "took my word for it" when I transferred the title to the new owner..
