Re: [FWDLK] '57 Plymouth on ebay

Wow. That sounds too cool. Got any pictures you can show us? I am currently shoe-horning my 392 Hemi that I've had since high-school and a 5 speed Keisler overdrive manual trans into my 56 Savoy. You may have noticed that I'm not much of a purist either, but I do know the dangers of hacking. I originally put my hemi in a 68 Barracuda when I was 16 years old. That was a hack job. When I was finally done, the car was not as fun to drive as it should have been because of all the modifications I had to do like no heater, chopped-up exhaust, poor cooling system, homemade trans adapter, and lousy clutch linkage. It did have lots of power though :). Now, I feel like I know what I am doing and should be able to accomplish the swap to my '56 with relative ease. But there is nothing like having something to tinker with to learn which end is up!
