[FWDLK] air filter housing

Hi,
I've seen that there was two models of air filter  in 1957: the "oval" element and the "round" element. Do this two models interchange if you've the correct air filter cover (round or oval) ? Seems that the housing which is bolted on the carb is the same. Note i talk about 4 bbl carb.
