If I remember right, eBay automobile auctions have this rate structure: No reserve: $40 to list, $40 fee charged *as soon as a bid is placed* Reserve: $40 to list, $40 fee charged *when bids clear the reserve* I list all mine in the parts car category, where the rate structure is the same as all other auctions. I suppose if I wanted to be dirty I could run the title the same way and copy the HTML, but I figure you type in a search on say '1959 plymouth' you'll get my auction, the expensive auctions, and everything else - Bill K. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Garrett" <TheBulkster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, July 26, 2004 8:34 PM Subject: [FWDLK] 57 on eBay Just curious if anyone else saw this and what your reaction is to the supposed 313 engine.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=248524873 5&category=6210 This also leads to the question, why spend the extra money to list a car with a reserve, when the opening bid is so high?? Would I be correct in thinking that this car probably won't sell for $13000? Garrett --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
