Sounds like an old wives tale someone told the owner who is repeating it as
gospel -

I did see pictures of an export Dodge convertible built the same way though,
guy sent them to me when I was trying to sell a Polara convert a while back.
Maybe I should have stuck a Plymouth nose on it, called it rare and sold it
that way -
