This is typical,
I work as a Telecom tech for Dominion and we are having circuits taken out
of service for no known reason and after a call to ( VERIZON, GTE ) they
just say "oops" and then the circuit might be back up and then again maybe
not.
We have circuits monitoring the activity at our substations and don't need
to have them going in and out all the time.
