I voted to leave it as is, but on further thought (and this post) I
think we need to let Dave decide this. He's the one paying for it up
front, and if he could get enough period looking ads to cover the cost,
that might be best. The cost to us might go down a little, and the
money could go to maintaining the site. Maybe a simple string of boxes across each page bottom with a heading like "for parts....", or "for Whatever.." and a vendors name and web address. It wouldn't take up much room, and wouldn't take away from the over all look. 10 vendors @ $50 or so each would pay for the calendars. Or a little more and they get some copies to give out. Dave, you did a great job on this one, and this kinda thing may make your life easier.
