"Riding the Bullett" is actually
a very good Stephen King short story, but the movie makers really tend to
destroy his stories in the movie making process. Christine, The Shining,
and Carrie are the only good exceptions I can think of, and all of them came in
the late '70s to early '80s. Many have tried to make good movies out of
great King books, but few have succeeded, IMHO. I can understand why he
wouldn't want anyone else to try. Maybe his stories would make better
video games than movies. . . .

- the movie went past the theaters and past DVD and went straight to TV
!!! It will be on the USA network Sunday, Jan. 23 at 8:00. Then again on
tues, Jan 25 at 9:00. The commercial showed a scene very familiar - a guy
running down the road with a car chasing him
!!
