Hello all,
I just got an e-mail from Hemmings advertising that
they have something like 20 different books on sale for $4.95. These are
apparently 120 page books, with a wide array of makes to choose
from.
There is a book of Chrysler Performance cars that
features I believe seven FWDLK autos. They also have Prewar
Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth books available. Anyway, I'm just curious if
anyone has ever seen or purchased these books, and if they'd be worth the $4.95
plus shipping to pick one or two of them up.
Also, has anyone ordered books from Hemmings
that can tell me how much shipping actually costs? They ask for a credit
card number before they give you the total with shipping...I don't want to put
in a credit card and then find out shipping costs something like $10 per
book.
Anyway, I figured I'd look for opinions, as well as
maybe share this information with the other list members (in case any of you
might be interested).
