It is used in some new Chryslers and some foreign vehicles like Hyundai.  I was told it was destructive to transmissions that take other types of fluids, but I don't know why.  Does anyone know?

Type F is fine, Type A is fine, and most of use plain Dexron/Mercon ? but there is one type that you shouldn?t use: ATF+3.  It?s the old ?7176? fluid with a new name.

Anyone know if ATF-3 Transmission Fluid is what I should use for my Torqueflight? It says on the bottle  "for Chrysler Products" Just want to make sure, I plan on making our meeting in Orlando tomorrow complete with my 59 and noticed I was a quart low.
