Sounds like part of a windshield washer setup. A factory Mopar unit would
use a washer bag hanging on the passenger side fender. The bag has an
aluminum cap that fits something like a radiator cap.
Some of these worked using a simple vaccuum bellows located on the floor to
the left of the brake pedal rather than an electric motor, which is why
you'd have lines running down under the master cylinder -
I can't think of anything else that would make sense - anyone had one apart
to know if I'm right?
