Go to http://www.gsp9700.com/
and find a shop with this balancer in your area. It is the only tire balancer
that can find problems with the balance of the tire under load (and when you
are braking, there is extreme load).
Generally, radials give a much more stable
ride – there may be an issue with an individual tire though.

63 Plymouth
I just installed BFGoodrich radial tires mounted on Crager
wheels on my 63 Plymouth.
I put 6 inch tires on the front and 7 on the rears. The car has
only had bias ply before. I took it out for its first tryout and from
about 45 mph braking caused horrendous brake oscillation through the brake
pedal, The car just shuddered until the speed reached about 10
mph. Felt like each drum was totally out of round...this is dangerous so
until I know what is going on I can't drive it......It has been suggested
that the car is not tuned for radials and that may be so and will need a new
alignment but this is so radical a feeling that something else must be causing
it... Any help would sure be appreciated...
