As someone else stated, have the bank check it out. One of the most common car buying scams is to send a cashier's check for more than the amount of the car and have you send them the difference, or pay it to a "shipping agent" which is usually a dummy address they provide. They may not even come get your car, but you end up responsible to return all of the funds to the bank regardless. I got ahold of a 58 Plymouth Suburban and started it offering it up for sale. There was 2 potential buyers that would write to me back to back and they happened to use the same style of writting. 1 of them has sent me a check over my asking price and I was wondering if I should be weary? Anyone have any advice? > > Thanks, > Kelly > > ************************************************************* > > To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to > http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---- No virus found in this incoming message.
