Anyone have a spare radio mounting plate for a '56 [only] Plymouth Belvedere
[only]? IN GOOD CONDITION. This is the plate that mounts onto the dash,
chrome plated around the edges and aluminum insert on the face.
In case anyone spots one in a wrecking yard:It comes off the dash easily, without removing the radio, by loosening the upper to lower instrument panel moulding, taking the nuts off the volume and tuning control shafts, and removing two sheet metal screws from the top of the glove box opening. TOOLS NEEDED: #2 Phillips screwdriver and deep 5/8" socket or Crescent wrench. That's it. Two minute job. --Roger van Hoy, Washougal, WA, '55 DeSoto, '58 DeSoto, '56 Plymouth, '66 Plymouth, '41 Dodge ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1
