Since everything is off it sounds like a problem with the
battery connections all right. Sometimes an old cable can look good but
has gone bad under the insulation.
It's puzzling that you have "one red wire" that has
power. Is that the one that's fastened onto the battery terminal? If
so, that might eliminate the battery connections... maybe... and suggest the
cable or the other ends as was suggested.
New cables are cheap and a good start.

hello everyone, i
need help, i cannot find the problem, i just started my 61 dodge squad and
drove it out of the garage, had it in 2 parades last weekend with no problems,
when i drove it out of the garage i shut it off, when i went to start it there
was nothing, there is no power to anything on the car except when i jump the
starter, i have no power anywhere, i traced one red wire to under the dash
that has power but that is it, what is the problem, is there a fuse or circuit
breaker somewhere, ignition switch should be good even if it wasn't the lights
should work but there is nothing at all that has power, where do i look?
