Re: [FWDLK] AM to FM Radio Conversion

Hello Bill, The boards are about $245.00 and about $25.00 in small parts...
My guy gets about $140.00 in time for a total of about $410.00, for 12 volt units 6 volt units run about $125.00 more not bad because he goes through and restores the rest of the gear left, tuning clutch face plate push buttons and the like.... The boards are kinda hard to get because the company that makes them sells all they make and at times are on back order...
Great sound with high output too.

Subject: AM to FM Radio Conversion

Does anyone know anything about, or where to get the parts to do AM to
FM radio conversions? I called a couple of places and they are quoting
$400 for the job! Supposedly there is a special board that they use
just for an FM conversion, but this just can't be that tough to do!

Thanks!

Bill M
