I'll post a link to a photo if anyone wants to see this, but I found a hubcap today that seems to match the one shown in my Krause book on a '54 DeSoto. It's a fake wire wheel cap that is held on by the lugnuts - and it has the center in it. Has the logo with the large V, small cross and so forth on it. Are these '54 only (not '55-'56), or older? Anyone know if they're worth a hoot? If anyone needs small bits, a '55 DeSoto more-door is going to be scrapped, I'm going to try to get the guys to set it aside for me, on it's side, so I can cut the motor out of it. They're mashing tops down on one and taking them two at a time out of here to crush elsewhere. Car is complete less the grille I already cut out of it - I can probably get some small bits. Going to try and get a '54 331 while I am at it. But time is short, I might be able to have it set aside for a week and that's that. Bill K. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
